Job Responsibilities

  • Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications

  • Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the surveying work in a part of a major project or in a total project of small or moderate scope

  • Perform work that involves conventional surveying practice but may include a variety of complex features

  • Work with design staff to provide suitable data development and document review

  • Direct conversations with clients at beginning, during, and end of projects

  • Supervise or coordinate the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments

  • Seal professional surveying documents

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Missouri or ability to obtain within six months

  • Surveying and Mapping experience in the areas of land development, site development, public works, and transportation

  • Utilization of multiple types of conventional, robotic, and GPS surveying equipment platforms

  • Strong computer skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
